FAQ

  • What is The Starlight Benefit?

    • A party for Primary-Middle School parents, faculty, staff and friends of PCS to celebrate our school community and raise funds. The event will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Fisher Pavillion.

  • How do I RSVP?

    • We are currently (April 2020) not taking reservations for the 2021 event.

  • What if I already purchased a ticket for 2020?

    • We will hold that ticket for you and it will be valid for 2021. If you would like to request a refund for whatever reason please use our contact form below.

  • Who attends the Starlight Benefit?

    • Parents, staff, alums, parent alums, grandparents, and friends. We invite all who love Pacific Crest School and would like to contribute to the growth of our community.

  • How do people dress for this party?

    • Feel free to dust off those dresses and shoes, suit jackets, and dress as the feeling moves you.

  • Why is Starlight Benefit off-site?

    • We are off-site for one reason. We have so many guests, we needed a larger venue.

  • What are my transportation and parking options?

    • There will be some construction going on at Seattle Center so please feel free to park in the area parking lots. We also strongly encourage car-share services like Uber and Lyft.

  • I am new to Pacific Crest School, and I'm afraid I won't know anyone there. I haven't met any parents from other grades yet. Should I still attend?

    • Absolutely! One of the main goals of the auction is to develop community. Come to this exciting event and meet new friends. We promise it will be a great time!

  • How will money be raised the night of the event?

    • We raise money through our live auction as well as our big driver, the Raise the Paddle. You will also be able to donate via the website and donation envelopes.

  • What gift levels will be available through the Raise the Paddle?

    • Giving levels range from $50 to $10,000+. Jump in wherever you are comfortable and feel free to raise your paddle more than once! Every gift of every amount makes a difference to the school.

  • What if I want to donate money, but I don't feel comfortable participating in a Raise the Paddle?

    • You can donate to the Starlight Benefit at any time. You can make a donation apart from purchasing your tickets, submit a sponsorship on the website, visit the check in/check out table at the event, or feel free to call the School office at 206.789.4387.

  • What else will there be besides fundraising and eating?

    • While the goal of the Starlight Benefit is to raise money for our school, we did come to party. Enjoy drinks and snacks and dance the night away.

  • What is the flow of the evening?

    • Arrive in our lovely setting and be greeted by a glass of champagne and delicious appetizers. Mix and mingle with friends old and new while pursuing our fantastic Party and Event sign ups. You will then be ushered into our exciting live auction and program with auctioneer David Silverman. End your night at the After Party with dancing and more late night snacks.

  • I have dietary restrictions. Will I starve?

    • Not a chance! We will ensure there is something for every type of diet.
